Dr. Fix Legislation Disguises Increased Deficit Spending

Washington D.C.- The House passed by a 243-183 vote legislation (H.R. 3691) providing a permanent adjustment to Medicare physician payment legislation-one that is not paid for, thus increasing federal deficits by nearly $210 billion, and raising Medicare premiums for seniors by nearly $50 billion.

Washington, DC - Congressman Dan Lungren (R-CA) today released the following statement after participating in Veterans Day events in Rancho Cordova and Sutter Creek:

"Today I had a great honor in recognizing three female pilots who mere members of the WASP (Women Airforce Service Pilots) during World War II. As men were flying off to the war theaters in Europe and the South Pacific, these women answered their country's call to serve. They were aviation pioneers that today's women in the military look up to.
