Gold River, CA - Congressman Dan Lungren (R-CA) was presented with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's "Spirit of Enterprise Award" today (Tuesday, Aug. 25) for his consistent pro-business voting record during the second session of the 110th Congress. The award was presented during a Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce breakfast by Dick Castner, who serves as the U.S. Chamber's executive director of the Western Regional Office. To be eligible for the award, a senator or representative must have voted for at least 70 percent of pro-business related votes that the chamber tracks during a session. Lungren voted for 17 of 18, finishing with a 94 percentile record. "This is an award given to a member of Congress who votes with business, for job creation and a strong economy," said Castner. ### Congressman Dan Lungren serves as Ranking Member on the House Administration Committee in addition to serving on the Judiciary and Homeland Security committees
